Is there an age requirement?

Punch Line Houston is an 18 and over venue. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

I don't drink alcohol. Do I still have to abide by the 2 beverage minimum?

Yes, but you do not have to purchase an alcoholic beverage. Mocktails, sodas, juices, sparkling waters and more are also available to you.

What are your box office hours?

Punch Line's box office will open at 5PM on days on which a performance is scheduled. Our Box Office accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Please note: we are cashless. 

Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be invalid, refunded, lost, stolen or counterfeit, and if so are void.

Where do I park?

Valet service is available at the venue. Surface and garage parking available with skybridge access from the GreenStreet garage located on Clay between Main and Fannin.

How do I buy tickets to upcoming shows?

To purchase online, visit punchlinehtx.com, ticketmaster.com, or livenation.com. To purchase tickets in person, visit the Punch Line box office (open at 5PM on days we have an event.)

Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be invalid, refunded, lost, stolen or counterfeit, and if so are void.

 

The show I want to see is sold out! What do I do?

Our shows often do sell out, so it's best to plan ahead and purchase your tickets in advance. However if this should happen and you want to try your luck, you are more than welcome to come to the venue early and wait in our "standby line" in the event that more tickets are released just prior to showtime. Please check in with our box office 1 hour before show time and they will give you further instruction.

What is your bag policy?

No large bags over 12"x6"x12", backpacks, Camelbacks or Bota bags

Do you allow re-entry into the show?

No, there is no re-entry. 

The show I bought tickets for got cancelled. How do I get my refund?

Tickets for cancelled shows can be refunded at the point of purchase. If you purchased tickets online through PunchLineHTX.com, LiveNation.com or Ticketmaster.com, your refund will automatically be processed in 3-5 business days.

Is there a drink minimum?

Yes, we have a 2 beverage minimum per guest in our showroom. 

Do food items count towards the 2 beverage minimum?

Although we have a robust menu of food offerings, only beverages (including non-alcoholic items) count toward the two-drink minimum.

What time are doors?

Please check the individual show listing on our website, but generally, 1 hour before show time on early shows and 30 minutes on late shows. 

Are there any items that I cannot bring to the venue?

(Keep in mind priority number 1 is to HAVE FUN! Just please do it without the items listed below.)

No guns, knives, weapons, pepper spray, projectiles of any kind, or any other item that could be used to inflict harm.

Replicas of any type of weapon are NOT permitted

No drugs, drug paraphernalia or illegal substances of any kind

No large bags over 12"x6"x12", backpacks, Camelbacks or Bota bags.

No outside food or beverages. 

No personal video cameras, Go-Pros, selfie sticks, drones, masks or laser pointers.

No professional audio, video, or audio recording equipment - (including detachable lenses, tripods, zooms or commercial use rigs)

No unsealed liquids or gels of any kind

No jewelry or clothing that could inflict harm

This list of prohibited items is subject to change at the discretion of venue management. 

Any gifts for the artist is subject to search. 

Can I reserve a table?

Our seating is General Admission and therefore first-come first-served. However, we offer preferred seating for an additional fee to most performances. Please check TicketMaster for availability.

I have a large party coming. Can we be seated together?

General Admission seating is first-come first-served, so please arrive with your full party for the best chance at being seated together.

Please note: large parties will be seated toward the back of the room. 

Are there accessibility services?

Ticketing: ADA tickets can be purchased online at https://www.ticketmaster.com/punch-line-houston-tickets-houston/venue/476361. You do not need to call the box office to place an order as all of our accessible tickets are available through https://www.ticketmaster.com/punch-line-houston-tickets-houston/venue/476361. Look for the logo on the Find Tickets page to view all available accessible seats. We do have accessible seating in various price ranges, but be advised it does occasionally sell out. We have limited seating available for guests on the day of the event so please make sure you purchase accessible seating when you order tickets.

Unexpected Needs: If you have had an injury or illness that prevents you from using the original seat you purchased, please email us at PunchLineHouston@LiveNation.com to coordinate accommodations in advance of the show. We have a limited number of seats available on the day of the show for such issues, but we cannot guarantee we will be able to seat you. Please remember that accessible seating permits for the guest with the accessible need and one companion.

Interpreter Requests: If you will need an interpreter for an event, please give us at least 2 weeks' notice to secure. Guests who request an interpreter will need to pick up their tickets at will call. When the tickets are picked up we will introduce you to your interpreter for the evening and take you to your seats. There is no charge to arrange for an interpreter for your visit.

Hearing Assistance: Guests that require assisted listening devices can contact our venue office prior to the event to arrange for a device. Please give us at least 2 weeks notice. We can be reached via email PunchLineHouston@LiveNation.com.

Service Animals: Service animals are permitted inside the venue during events. Only registered working animals are permitted. Punch Line Houston requires, consistent with the ADA, that service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents them from using these devices. Individuals who cannot use such devices must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective methods.

I bought my tickets already. Do I still have to wait in that long line?

Yes, with or without tickets you must wait in line; we require ID verification and security screening in advance of entering the venue.

Do you offer military discounts?

Occasionally we have promotional tickets for eligible veterans, active-duty military personnel, first responders and their families. Please visit Veteran Tickets Foundation at www.vettix.org to check availability.

Can you smoke in the venue?

Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the venue. This also includes vape cigarettes.
